It just doesn't make sense to enable PEOPLE for just local/user contacts. to large fonts that are easily discoverable for our organisation. The PEOPLE page is great, especially as we can change the view listings: CALENDAR, PEOPLE, etc. Our users overlook the Address Book as it's hidden/not discoverable. HOWEVER, it makes absolutely no sense why you cannot access the Global Address List from PEOPLE! Our organisation uses the PEOPLE pane extensively as it's so easy and quick to access. We need to get that back on the People tab. Select Custom bullet and change the contacts list order that you want it to be. Then I realized that the Global list was gone. Do you want to change the default contact folder selected when clicking To button in an email message If so, we can change it via the following steps: 1. Just switched form 2010 and it looked like I lost half of my contacts. Not sure why the Global Address List is a separate from the People pane. We can't believe that the only alternative for shared client management, wherein you can search from the people pane, is public folders, which Microsoft do not even fully support anymore! In the popped out Addressing dialog, under the When Opening the address book, show this address list first section, selecting the address book from the drop down menu. When the Address Book: Contacts dialog pops up, click Tools > Options. In the Home tab, click Address Book in the Find group. We have a client that would benefit greatly from this. Change the default address book in Outlook 20. Agreed, would like to see Global Address List in People (Contacts) when using Outlook 2016
